To sync your Club we store things like family profiles, food likes and dislikes, favourites, meal plans, house meals, shopping lists, and related settings. That data is sent to our servers so every device in your household stays in sync.
Data on our servers is stored securely. We don’t sell it, and we don’t share it with third parties for advertising or marketing.
Some features (like Bite Bot and polaroid captions) may use Apple Intelligence on your device when it’s available. If it isn’t, we may send a limited request to OpenAI so the feature still works. Those requests are obfuscated — family names are not sent.
Bite Bot subscriptions are handled by Apple. We don’t see or store your full payment card details.
Depending on where you live (including the UK GDPR, EU GDPR, and US state privacy laws), you can ask to see, correct, or delete your data, or ask us to stop using it. We’ll respond as required by law.
Email data@lumen-digital.com with a deletion request. We’ll remove your Club data from our servers. You can also clear local data in the app’s Settings before leaving.
Bite Club is built for households. If a child uses the app, a parent or guardian should manage the Club and any paid features.
We may update this notice when the app or the law changes. The latest version will always be on this page and inside the Bite Club app under Settings → Privacy & Terms.
